I can't have a dog and so I want to get Nintendogs. so my little brother and I were going to buy a ds together and split the cost, since he would like a nintendo ds also.

You can get a used one off of Ebay. You can also try any of the EBGames franchise stores or their online counterparts. Which includes, EBgames, software etc. type of stores. They offer new, used and refurbished systems. You can also get used games for somewhat less than new.

Not sure wher you might be located, but there are several places to purchase used Nintendo DS's.
Ebay, Game Crazy, Game Stop, EB Games. There are others. You can look up under video games in the yellow pages and you should find listings there. You could also try Yahoo groups. There are some that offer free cycle where everything would be free OR recycle sites where you would pay an amount for an item, usually cheaper than resale shops.

hi i was looking for a nintendo ds too
i looked at EB games there price was $146.00
And Big W was $198.00
And that was too much for my mum to pay for so i checked out ebay that had nintendo ds and nintendo ds lites on there
there were never used ones on there for $0.99 from hong kong but postage was 39.99 but it was better than paying nearly $200 dollars just for a nintendo
So get on ebay!!
