Have they ever made a remake of a movie where everything is the exactly the same as the oringal

Awful sequel but they matched everything.

RIGHT now ...........psycho is the closest thing not EXACTLY carbon copy remake but damn close. BUT very few movies can really capture what makes an original GREAT. They are in the process of filming a remake of the original halloween. AND although i'd LOVE to think it'll be FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! it probably won't Rob Zombie has the helm an di'm sure there will be a few things changes in the translation of early day horror and modern. BUT we'll see.

the closest i can think of would be psycho. gus van sant's remake was an almost shot for shot remake of the hitchcock original(with a longer stab scene that showed boobies!!!) in the end, i didn't like the new one as much, but i did see the old one a couple days before i saw the new one.

Yeah, Psycho was pretty accurate the second time around.

Another interesting thing... the book Lord of the Flies is JUST LIKE the movie... so if you ever needed to do a book report, just watch the movie as you follow the book. It's the SAME.

yeah, he's right. psycho's the only one. cept you can see ann's anus when she falls. that was weird.
