He is asian but he thinks everybody that isn't white is inferior to whites. He looks up to me so much but I want him to realize that that isn't the way it is. He hates black people the most for some reason, and then hispanic and asian people. I don't want to upset him but I do want to change his thinking.

I think you should find out exactly what is making him say these things... and maybe he can't express himself in words ... so you might need to listen above the words...
Ususally when people are irrational haters, they hate something about themselves...and it is just transferred to others... if he were busy with himself, he would have no time or interest in hating others ... if you love yourself, you love others...these things are really difficult to deal with because you have your own needs also ... you might need to move away from him... it depends upon how much time he is busy being prejudiced.. if it is so much that it takes over your friendship, you may need to let him go his way...
he will need to make peace with the situation somehow...he must know that himself, does he not? I think that what people like him miss the most is "that we are all one!" Maybe someday he will see that we are all made of the same paste even though the look is different ...the same soul, the same Atma ...as the Hindus call it.

he needs help he could atleast not hate his own race damn, it shows that he wants to be white, no offense but the white man has succeeded in the past with all that superior crap and it still has that effect on some people, i see a lot of asians like that, some use sking lightening cream and the women get surgery to be westernized, and all that. i mean they have bougth into the stereotypes that have been created, it is so sad. also not to be maen but tell him while he is kissing the white man's as.s, there are white racists that wanna take his as.s off the face of this earth
asians tend to be hard working and will do almost anything to succeed a lot of the time, also some of the people are just beautiful especially in south asia
it amazes how we are never happy with ourselves even though u have people who try and be you!!!

Just start exposing him to things that will change his mind. Like movies starring intelligent actors/actresses of all colors, music without racism or racist overtones, fair and unpredjudiced books. No violent or racist music, no blaxploitation flicks, no sleazy novels about how bad these guys are or that race is. Try casually bringing up in conversation how you admire so-ad-so's role in a movie, or their new single, or their book, and so on. If your friend objects, say "What are you talking about? This is really good. At least listen to it/read it/see it before you criticize it." Lots of biased people aren't even aware that they are so, so don't accuse him - he may not even have any idea.

All you can do is live by example, show everyone you meet the same respect you would like them to show you and it might actually sink in that living in hate and ignorance limits the possibilities of the soul.

Take him to an all black night club and then to a gossip church and see how he feels about being the only white person.

pray for him or just loose him as a friend because all he is doing is using you as a crutch since he jocks white folks and that means that he has some issues within him self.

tell him that even you dont think that its cool to be racist becuase its not cool it causes to many problems
talk to him alone and tell him thats its not ok to hate other ppl because of there skin color

he has to change his thinking. you can't do it for him. so, i would drop him. let him go off on his rants and diatribes about others without you. you'll be better off.
