I'm not on SS (yet) but when the government prints trillions for overspending with the consequence of devaluing the dollar and causing the cost of living to raise, and diverts SS to those who didn't pay in, the government takes on a responsibility. I think SS should be funded for those vested, and the kids should be let out to manage their own money -- they can't do a worse job than the government has. I think spending cuts abroad should fund SS and we should bring our troops home to spend their money here, not abroad, to stimulate the economy. That is one reason I wrote in Ron Paul in 2008.
