I think about the time at my grandparents cottage in Indiana when my Mom let me and my cousin lie in the grass at night with her and look for shooting stars. It was awesome.

I look in awe, rambling in my backpack looking for my camera, all while making a wish, then by time i pull out the camera it's gone. (multitask queen, yeh)but anyways i say 'aw man.' then i sit watching the stars hoping another will come to take a pic, but they never come again until after i go inside n a friend says 'there's another!' then i say, 'what?' and laugh. sorry, its funny to me how the second never comes for me. guess the stars dont like bein in front of cameras after all... :)

I am 21 years old and still haven't seen one :(

Friend: "look, a shooting star"
Me: "Where, where?"
Friend: "Right There!"
Me: "I don't see it!"
Friend: "Well it's gone now"

I go "Woah!" and then watch for more of 'em. Boring, I know, but I'm a science geek, what can I say?
