A person in my office likes to access pornographic websites from my computer. How do I block him from accessing these sites... I know this situation calls for alot of opining over the fact pattern but I'm just looking for the specific directions on how to do this. Thank you!

go to TOOLS menu of your IE. (internet Explorer)
go to internet options
then go to the restricted sites tab.
then click on sites..
enter the site name that you want to restrict.
Bingo ! here you GO !

easier than blocking the sites (cause he will just find others) is to lock your computer when your away from it...
1) windows lets you put a password on your account, just switch user and dont make a guest account...
-to make a password you might have to ask the administrator in your office to help you
2)if the guy is more tech-savvy, try this as well: make sure you have administrator privilages (or just ask your admin to do it for you), go to: Start Menu; Run; (type) syskey; click update; check the top box and make a password.
-this stops him from rebooting your comp and logging in

do both for extra security....not many people will be able to get on your computer =D

go to internet explorer - tools-internet options and then restricted sites.. add the sites u dont wnna be accessed

you can install NetDog Porn Filter : http://www.netdogsoft.com , it will block acess to pornographic websites quitely on your computer
