Chatting like friends, no. But if you're flirting and talking sexual and planning on hooking up then yes that is a form of cheating. Oh and getting emotionally attached to someone is also cheating.

If something is friendly chatting then it's ok. If it's something that someone would want to keep a secret from their partner because it feels like cheating, then maybe it could be considered as cheating. Flirting lightly with someone else just by chatting is fine as long as you and your partner both feel happy about it then it could be quite healthy for your relationship.

Yes I consider chatting in any inappropriate way cheating! Honestly I tried to chat inappropriately and I couldn't answer the first question the guy asked me because I thought, would I want my husband doing this. Besides I am very dedicated to my marriage and I wouldn't trade my husband for the world he is the best!

It depends on what you mean by 'chatting'...having a platonic conversation with someone who you are only interested in as a friend, then no i do not consider it cheating. Chatting with someone on a romantic level or in a sexual nature, yeah that's no good with me because that suggests to me that you are looking elsewhere to meet ur needs and that if you haven't actually cheated, you might entertain that desire in the future...

define chatting. As in a chat room talkin to people ok. NOT bad if it's personal ooooooooooh your hot etc. etc. and things of a personal nature then yes it's wrong and cheating in a way. It would be the same as doing that in person in front of your significant other.

Yes. Why don't you talk about whatever you're chatting about - with the person you're attached to? You can be unfaithful to a relationship in many ways, not just physically.

Depends on what the chatting is about. I always have my man flirt to get us free stuff and whatnot and some people consider that cheating but we both do it. And then conspire some more..

It depends on what kind of chatting your talking about. If it's FRIENDLY chat then no. But if it's FLIRTY chat then thats another story. And also put yourself in your g/f's place. Would YOU like it if she were doing what your doing? If it's all innocent then there should be no problem.

Anything you do in secret or hide from your partner should be considered "cheating." If you are indeed "attached" to someone else, why would you want to hide anything from them, if other than to jeopardize your relationship. And, if in fact it would jeopardize your relationship, that is a clue that is is considered cheating.

Would you want your girlfriend or wife doing the same thing? Now, do you think it is cheating? If you are sneaking around to do it, then it is cheating.
