Yes, a few times on my job but I was able to use my quick thinking or Irish charm to diffuse the sitiation. A few other times it was just plain old necessary force.
Then there was giving birth to my son, I almost died. They did an emergency e-section with me fighting them all the way to the O.R., I had suffered a horrible preg, and just wanted a normal delivery, just was not in the cards. I did have a beautiful son who is 17 and as stubborn as his mom.

I had an unknown disease once and thought I was a goner. Guess I really was almost. Another time we hit some ice driving and the car started twirling around and a big tree loomed in front of us but we slid, unharmed, car fine right next to it. AND, finally, when I was a kid playing in the enormous waves at Lake Michigan I got smashed under and thought i was going to drown because I couldn't (briefly) figure out which way was up.

About 3 years ago, in the winter, I had to go into work early, and I had to travel the fresh fallen snow..... My car hydroplaned, turned around facing where I just came from, then flipped 3 times, landing right side up in the ditch... The roof on the passengers side was smashed down on top of the door, but, my side was fully intact... The Snow plow driver"behind me" didnt expect to find me alive, after what he had just witnessed... I was pretty shook up, and sustained 2 herniated discs in my back.... I am fully recovered today!

Yes. when i was 6, i went to a party at a hotel. Me and the other kids went swimming in a huge pool. My mom told me to stay at the shallow end, while other kids were getting back rides from these teenage girls. I wanted a ride, so i went to follow them to the deep end, and down under i went. I was under for about two minutes when this girl grabbed me and brought me back to the surface. I was so scared! And now everytime i see water, i remember that day.

Yes. I almost drowned when I was a teenager. Very scary. And I had an allergic reaction to an antibiotic while I was at work and my throat started closing up on me and I broke out in hives. It was so embarrassing because they had to call an ambulance and everyone is gawking at you.
