All of my baby boy stuff is very boyish because I had two girls before I had my boy so I wanted everything boyish....but I did give her all of the white onesies and all of his bib overalls.

Throw her a surprise baby shower and let everyone know to get her all girls stuff. You can print out a list of things that she might need and send it along with the invitations, or register her at a store. Then, you can give her all your baby furniture. As far as the baby clothes go, you can show her what you have and let her choose from there what she'd want her girl to wear.

have you got much white or yellow stuff or is it all blue and boyish? I am having a boy as did my sister, but half the stuff she gave me was white. Perhaps you could go to best and less or big W (australian) they have little really cute dresses and shirts and stuff for about 3 or 4 dollars at the moment, I am sure wherever you are would have shops like that. My mum and sister also went and did a big layby of stuff for the baby and the 3 of us just went in and paid some off when we could. You might find some cool stuff on ebay too.

It really all boils down to what you can afford! You know from past experience how expensive everything is. Since you already know what she has.... nothing... then she needs everything so it shouldn't be too hard!
There is a great website called http://www.freecycle.org . It enables people to give away all of the things that they do not need, and also will allow you to post up wanted ads for the things that your sister needs. It's totally free and it's separated by areas in the U.S., so that you know whoever you are trading with is near you! It's really great you should check it out, maybe you can find alot of the things that your sister needs there!
Take Care! :o)

I had that same proble except everyone thought I was going to have a boy and I hade a girl. I still used the same garments that they gave me for my baby. It's ok for a girl to wear boyish clothes so don't worry. You can also throw her a suprise babyshower and lett evryone to get things for a baby girl.

You can still give her baby boy clothes.. just give her the unisex colors like green, yellow (even blue girls can wear) Go to consignment shops, they usually have good things there also...uy her books to read about pregnancy and what to expect in the first year of the baby being born, etc!! Anything is helpful!!

you can take all of your son's old overalls and things that do not have boy logo's on them and put girly patches on them. it's a really easy way to pass on clothes to a girl or boy.
