I would like to say that it is wrong and very cheap when italians are racist to the blacks and folk from the middle east. When in fact italians are not a white race and never have been.

Italy was ruled and its people have been assimilated into non european cultures well bfore the romans, The moors from north africa and arabs from the middle east have al conquered and ruled italy for hundredsof years. italians are mixed race not white thats why they have very dark skin and brown eyes and hair.

so what is it with racist italians when they are not white themselves they are a mongral race which is predominitly non european.

Hi man,
I guess you've a few wrong ideas about Italians and the fact they're racists. I'm Italian, I'm white skinned, same as 95% of our native people but this means absolutely nothing to me. I'm not at all racist and mostly of Italian residents are like me; I don't know if you're referring to the Italo-americans living in the States. Should be this I cannot go against you (but somebody here above did it already) since I've no direct knowledge but if this is really true I feel you cannot identify a people of a nation with a minority of it.
For the sake of the truth read something more about Italy and don't keep yr knowledge limited to a few unverifiable rumors.

I'm sure you mean Italian- United Statesians you see, there is no such a thing as ‘American’ nationality, America is not a nation America is a continent with many nations in it. The US never named itself the name of the United States is a designation it comes from the end of the Declaration of Independence, "WE, therefore, the Representatives of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in GENERAL CONGRESS, Assembled...". The preamble to the U.S. Constitution reiterated the phrase: "We the People of the United States..." (The authors of these two documents probably used the phrase "united states" in place of a list of colonies/states because they remained uncertain at the time of drafting which colonies/states would sign off on the sentiments therein.) The geographic term "America" specifies the states' home on the American continent.

It is therefor incorrect to refer to US citizens as Americans with the intent of denoting citizenship, or the United States as America with the intent of denoting a nation. Americans have a term for US citizens, we are called United Statesians by the rest of Americans, to say American with the intent of denoting citizenship or America when we mean the United States reflects poorly on our attitude towards the 70% of Americans that are not United Statesians.

Also, although some people would like to believe that America is not one but two continents North America and South America. If you think about it though the term U.S. of A. is a glaring example that this line of thought is incorrect, if America was two continents instead of one, shouldn’t it be U.S. of N.A. (North America)? We say Columbus discovered..... ? AMERICA, not South America or North America.

Hope that helps.

Italians are not black - which is beside the point. They have just as much right to say negative things about any group they want to as you do about them. So get off your high horse, sweetie. And speaking of mongrels, if we aren't a 'mongrel' nation no one is. How many nationalities are surging through your veins or your children's veins? As the saying goes, "He who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw stones."

r1b1c...didn't we address this in an earlier question.... everyone around the world calls people form the US "americans." and that's because there is the united states of mexico and the united states of america. so we say "american." unitedstatian...or however you are spelling it, is a term that does not exist in the english language, and is rarely, if ever used by our america "the continent" neighbors. saying united statian doesn't clarify anything...you still have to ask if it's the USA or Mexico. i guess you could aruge this because we don't say United states of Mexico....but....we don't say "united statian" EITHER.

We all come from Africa, so it doesn't make sense for anybody to be racist against people who are more recently from Africa.
