Probably not, considering that the voltage requirements here are different than they are there, and the plugs are different, as well. You probably wouldn't be able to plug it in, let alone, turn it on.

I'm pretty sure UK Wii's use the PAL standard whereas in the US we use the NTSC standard for our TV's.

I don't think it will work.
