Mine did but everyone is different. I have a friend who only had 4 periods a year all her life. You will know soon enough just have some emergency supplies with you at all times, and welcome to "womanhood".

I have a daughter who got her first period in July. She had one again in August and then not again until December. She's very athletic which can cause periods to be very irregular. In the first year, I wouldn't worry about it unless you get a lot of pain and bloating. If your period never evens out, you may want to see a doctor. There's no way anyone can tell you if you'll have another one this weekend. I'd say there's a good chance that the answer is no since it's been so long. It could come at any time.

It's going to take time for your body to get regular. Just keep track of it for a while and see if there is a pattern. I never had a regular pattern myself, but most women do. It's usually every 28 days.

Usually your period will be irregular for a while. It could come tomorrow, or in 2 months. You can't really be certain when you first start. My period took about a year to be regular. Sorryy. Goodluck.

I never had a "regular" period. I only had 3 or 4 a year from the beginning so after several years my OB/GYN put me on "the pill" to make me ovulate regularly.

It took me awhile to notice it on a pattern. your body is going through a big change so be patient with it and continue to do what you are doing by writing down when it comes, so then one day you will be all prepared and know when to expect it.
