Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!
Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!
Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?
My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:
Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...
Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...
Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

If there is a god, (Which I very much doubt) who is in control of the world (which I doubt even further) the injustice is necessary as part of the free will mechanism. If there wasn't suffering and and injustice, people would have no oppurtunities to care for others- Thus the good and the bad people cannot be defined, because the terms "good and bad" would be undefinable, because no "bad" things would happen.
This is what the garden of eden illustrates. Adam and eve had free will, but they didn't know good from bad, and thus choose the bad one because they didn't know anything better, because they lived in a perfect world. If they had been exposed to suffering to start with, they would understand the consequences. The story of adam and eve is to demonstrate this. However, many christians wrongly interpret it as the literal creation story, instead of a "Soap opera" that helps us understand the (or gods, if you prefer) world.
Personally, I don't think you should "believe" in anything, save for that you should make your own decisions, and not listen to any lies that priests and politicians talk

Hinduism is actually called Sanatana Dharma(Eternal law) and is among the oldest of the world's faiths. Even though there are numerous beliefs within Hinduism, they are all mostly based on the Vedas which is believed to have been revealed to the Sages & Seers by God and is the the oldest text still been used.It is also very much a living tradition. The first fundamental principle of Hindu Dharma is that "the Reality is one without a second." This reality is beyond description by human mind. Hence it is indicated by a single world, "Brahman". "Infinite, eternal, changeless existence is the All; from that All, All comes forth; to that All, all returns," that is what the Chandogya Upanishad(one among the numerous sacred texts of Hinduism) tells us. Hinduism is the only faith to have boldly and confidently proclaimed that "Truth is one, the wise call it by various names." (Rig Veda). Hinduism may not be called only as a religion in the sense other religions are known. It has no founder. It is much more than a religion. It is a total way of life. Hindu also understands more than any other religionist in the world, the concept of a harmonious global society that should unite, prosper and live in peace. "lOkAsamastA sukhinO bhavantu" and ‘vasudhaiva kuTumbakaM’ which means let every thing and every one in this world be peaceful and happy and this world as one big family. Hinduism lays emphasis on direct Experience of the Devine rather than on authority. The most sacred of Hindu texts - The Vedas, the Brahmanas, the Aranyakas, and the Upanishads. The Bagavad Gita rendered by Avatar of God, Sir Lord Krishna has the gist of these sacred texts. Hindus believe that God is everything and everthing is God thus it is obtuse to confuse Hinduism's images with idolatry, and their multiplicity with polytheism. They believe that what every you follow with utmost devotion will lead you to the final goal which is the Realisation of the Ultimate reality and Truth.

No one can force you to believe in any religion, and its not a bad thing if you do not share your parents own personal beliefs. That just means your using the brain God may or may not have given you. Being a free thinker is not a bad thing. Just continue believing in being a good and honest person. Its okay to have doubt. Faith is the hardest thing to have. God (if there is one) understands that and is merciful. Your parents should understand that too.

God cannot do anything about the suffering and stuff, because we have got to learn...that's why all the natural disasters happen. If He was there to pick us up whenever we fall and look after us completely - virtually keep us in cotton wool, we wouldn't know anything, and we wouldn't learn anything...because He helps us through things but doesn't do them for us, we have experience - we learn from our mistakes with His guidance, but not with Him doing everything for us...:)

That would take more space to answer than shoud be used on YA... but basicaly it is because mankind is full of ego and pride and greed and most are just self serving selfish greedy individuals who will do what ever they can for themselves and to hell with every one else... God has nothing to do with the current condition of mankind... mankind did it to it's self.... God will end it all one day... but for now it is up to mankind to relearn what God wanted for this world and to strive to fix it...

If you believe in any religion, believe what you believe is right, not what your parents think.
God may or may not exist, it's up to you to find your own facts and decide what you feel is right.
If God exists, would he really dictate our lives, relieve our personal problems, ect? Perhaps not, perhaps it's a matter of free will, and solving our own problems and living our own lives.
