m always getting shocked.. getting in or out of the car, turning the light switch on or off, touching someone, and when i fold clothes & the blankets...its not once in awhile, its an everyday all throughout the day thing.... my husband says its because i drag my feet....

It's winter, the air is dry, plus your heat is turned on and that dries out the air further. This causes static electricity to build up and just walking across the carpet can build up the charge too. If you're getting shocked that often, you may need a humidifier in your house, or if you happen to have radiators, you can put metal pie tins of water on them and this will put more humidity into the air. When you're washing clothes, make sure to use fabric softener or dryer sheets.
