Didn't I read somewhere that she had some kind of serious medical condition, and I don't mean problems with drugs or alcohol. If this is true, she may very well have been on something, especially something for pain.

She didn't look drunk to me, she looked like she was on perscription painkillers. She definately appeared to be under the influence of something. I think that is why they had Jewel there, to cover for Paula. As for her being hotter when wasted? That's just sad.

We only have to watch that stuff for a couple of hours, but they have to sit there all day and I think it would get tiring and I would get a little punchy after that too.
