We have swimming at school later this week but i really dont wanna do it because:
1) All of the girls in my class are lovely and thin and toned etc but the top of my legs are fat and look disgusting.
2) I self harm and dont want people to see the cuts on my wrists.
I really dont want to do it.
Missing the swimming completely is not an option as i missed the last 2.
Help. What should i do?

You should be more concerned about the fact that you self harm yourself, then missing a swimming class. That is a serious problem that could kill you, especially if you are a cutter, you could hit an artery or major blood vessel and cause serious harm to yourself. No one likes being "on display" in school P.E. and swimming classes. If you are concerned about people looking at your figure, wear a one piece bathing suit instead of a bikini with a pair of board shorts over it. Or, you could always wear a bathing suit that has a skirt attached to it. You can even buy just a plain black skirt that is water proof that goes over a bathing suit at Wal Mart for under $10 you can slip over any swimsuit. Bottom line, go to swimming or ask if you can make up the swimming class with an extra credit assignment, if not, grin and bare the class. And get some help for the self-harm before you wind up doing some serious harm to yourself!

1) your going to be waist high when you jump in the pool, so no one will see your thighs. Besides curves on a girl are nice

2) Don't show people your wrists then XD
The water makes your skin shed a bit, so the scabs will fall off earlier. If they're scars... you can try taking some vitamin E.

just a tip...people don't really care what you look like

do it. it sounds hard to just jump in and show your body when it's not always comfortable. but, it's worth it. i used to be really self conscious about my legs too, esp. my thighs. but, i had a lot of guys tell me to shut up if i said that they would rather have a girl with pencil legs. the truth is, guys love big thighs and big butts. and i suggest that you find professional help with your cutting. it's not healthy and no one deserves to be hurt physically, especially by themself. best of luck to you.

im sure you're not the only one that has a little more weight. i dont mean in your gym class. i mean in your school.. so.. you just gotta go through it.. there's nothing you can do cuz you gotta do the swimming. it's not like no one knew that your legs were fat before now

you can put bandaids over the cuts until they start to fall off.

and dont worry about your figure. nobody will really take note of it. :)

Do some workouts and burn some fat !! For your hands, cover them with bandage !!!
