Lots of people seem to fear world domination, either by a dictator, a religious group, or globalization thru trade federations.
But, who dominates the world today?
A fair answer to that question might be the USA.
Regardless of the ideology, the power to rule always comes from the people. If the USA dominates the world, that position was bestowed upon the USA by the peoples of the world. It's a position that would have had to be earned by trust.
Is it time that we, as Americans, reflect on this responsibilty? Is it time to set our fears aside and remember who we are?

Evil does, effectively.

Aside from that I fully understand your point, but I did not vote for George Bush, nor would I .I never forgot who I was to start with, and I told a pastor that he was hiding behind the Bible to create a war, and he disagreed with me. Israel and Usa do dominate, but I will take no credit, and spend much time writing to try to get congressman, etc, to see the truth behind the unfair things going on. Not only in other countries, but our own. I think that if the media and tv, would tell the truth, even those that voted bush in would want him thrown out. People cannot see the truth of this war, or the hidden things going on in our own government and vehemently deny that this government is evil. They do not realize that their vote did not count to start with. ELECTORALS do the electing, our votes are useless and wasteful.Wasting our time money and efforts, and if we dont get someone in there that changes that ,,then we are not free. Instead of doggin people for their ideas and opinions we should listen completely and understand that sometimes we have to agree to disagree, and yet still decide was is best for the country and our constitution. If a leader does not love and respect his constitution, he has not place in american government. It is not just a god damned piece of paper, and in truth, had the blessings through prayer before it was written and wel thought over.

Dominates in what way? Do we lead the world in healthcare? No. Do we lead the world in literacy rates? No. Do we lead the world in alternative energy sources? No. Do we lead the world in diplomatic relations? No. We're not even leaders in "bad" things like oil consumption. FAIL! The US dominates in the same way that Sharpay from High School Musical dominates East High plays - if you sing loud enough, no one can ignore you even if they wanted to. I am PROUD to be an American, but we've got work to do!

while i agree with you, at the same time its not our job to play mommy to the world, if people want to kill themselves, let them, just leave us out

however when our people are attacked and killed, then we have to step in, also if there is gross atrocities being committed, as good people we must help the poor people
