western barbie (the old one with the white outfit) with western ken ... though it was tough getting those faux letter pants off Ken. Ken and Barbie were having premartial relations.

One of my favorite ones was the one with its own computer that really worked via a my desktop computer. You put the CD into the CD drive and through using the data from it send that to the mini computer in front of the doll. The data passes through the air an into the necklace around its neck. It programs the chip inside to repeat the information. The mouth moves as if the doll is doing the actual talking. It works off batteries in the back and the leg which allows it to be taken to anywhere. This technology was fascinating. Too bad no other toy company thought of it like GI Joe or other action figure. Though the CD was not as challenging, the concept was quite cleaver. There had been several Hawaiian Barbies. Was it the multicolored hair one with screws in the elbows and knee joints, the blond one with the same joints, or the one with no screws at all?

The Magic Moves Barbie made in Vanna White's likeness. She had a switch on her back that made her head and arms move around and a gown on like Vanna wears.

I am too old--there was only one Barbie when I was growing up-but she had so many different jobs and clothes.
