I found out my friend washes his sweaters and jackets after wearing it only 1 time. I asked around and most my friends also do the same. Am I crazy? I wash my sweaters after 3-4 wears and I wash my jackets rarely maybe once or twice a month. Please help

Depends..if you're a clean person and don't get things on your sweater or jacket-you can wash it 3-4 times after wearing it-if its a sweater-for jackets you can go little longer-(as long as it doesn't smell) but you're not crazy. If I went to a club-I wash everything I wore as soon as I get home-I hate the smell of cigarettes/weed/alcohol etc.

I wash almost everything after wearing it just once..shoot...I even wash everything BEFORE I wear it! LOL I don't wash coats or jackets everytime though, unless I've been in a bar or restaurant that you walk out of and have that "greasy" smell. Don't ever wear anything that smells would be my best advice;)

You are NOT crazy - they are germaphobes. Unless your clothes are directly on your sweaty skin - really what is happening to them?
I wash when they get visibly dirty or don't smell fresh anymore.
Besides - especially with sweaters - the more you wash, the quicker you wear them out & they look drab.

As long as they don't smell bad, have stains or look bad, don't wash them. Don't wear the same one every day for a week or 2, or it will start to look dirty. Hang them on a hanger on your shower rod to "air" before putting them away--or just put them on the back of a chair, almost as good. Check the underarms for odors, and the neck for ring around the collar; wash them at the first sign of a problem. If they get a "tired" look, wash them.

WASH YOUR SWEATER AFTER EACH WEAR IF YOU ARE A FEMALE THAT WEARS MAKEUP AND PERFUME. THERE IS SWEAT FROM THOSE ELEMENTS.
IF YOU ARE A GENTLEMAN AND WEAR A T-SHIRT OR AN A SHIRT UNDER YOUR SWEATER. WASH IT AFTER THE SECOND WEAR UNLESS IT HAS STAINS ON IT.
