ok first of all the only way to get my dad of a game like world of warcraft is to either make a big roast so he feels sleepywhen he goes to sleep put all kinds of girly stuff on the computer & the computer screen so he spends all his time getting them off
or
unplug the keyboard and hide it somewhere he wont look and then when he goes to buy a knew keyboard ring him and tell him that u found it and before he comes back u get on the computer and stay on thre constantly and dont cook or do anything and he will feel missed and not stay on there so long.

The expandation for World of Warcarft just came out so he's probably having fun with all the new stuff. He should burn out in a few days. I would try to get him out of house too.

my best friend is having this same problem with her boyfriend. my solution is simple and effective. if you live with him, move in with some friends/back with you parents for a few nights. if he doesn't seem to care/notice dump him. if he calls up crying and begging tell him he has to give up WoW for good.
i never played WoW and i never will so i dunno if it can be done or not. but if it can be done, change his password if you take him back. have him leave the room, close your eyes and just pound random keys. save it as such. and then make him uninstall the game and then take the disc from him.

You start playing! LOL.. Thats what I did.. Couldn't get my ex off Halo 2. well.. I started playing and in notime I was showing him how i felt on the other side!
But GOOD LUCK! lol Its not easy to break someone away from a game they love!

tell him that one time a person played starcraft for probably 5 days straight and died somehow. and tell him that both warcraft and starcraft are done by blizzard. that'll get him off.

Kick him in the nuts, take out the disc, smash it into pieces, and then tell him to get his *** of the computer and pay attention to you.

Get somebody strong on the game and have them kill him and you should see if they can use the Sword of 1000 Truths if it is available.
