I remember visiting the UK 15 years ago and being quite relieved to see that the British people had not yet been infected with political correctness to the same degree that we in the US had. It was refreshing to see a people that were not afraid to speak about things in a fair and straight forward manner because they might "offend" someone.

I returned to the UK several months ago, and what I saw was very depressing. I saw a nation that was afraid to stand up for itself and was losing it's identity. I saw a nation that was living a lie but was afraid to admit it. What I saw was that the UK had become even MORE politically correct than the US and was paying dearly for it.

People throughout Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and North America are begining to realize that diversity and multiculturalism are a fraud. As an American of English and Scottish descent, I urge you to wake up before it is too late.

I should make it clear that I happen to like most of the various peoples and cultures of the world. I think it is interesting to learn about different peoples and cultures. This is one of the reasons I like to travel.

I am just suggesting that it is a huge mistake to try and force them all to live in ONE society together. Cultural unity strengthens a nation. Cultural diversity destabilizes one. This has been true throughout history.

The problem lays in the fact that schoolchildren are being churned out as leftist automatons that dont know any better.

I even saw a schools education programme that featured a black man in world war1 officer uniform demonstrating the savagery of the war.No one tried to say that this was the case, but neither did they mention it at all, thereby planting the seed in the fertile minds of children, that blacks are a significant and heroic part of our history.Which is of course simply not true.

In essence,we have a new generation offering the traditional leftist argument of sticking their fingers in their ears and singing "lalalallalalaa",when the facts are laid bare before them.

We wont be able to right the wrongs of the labour government for another generation at least. When we have genuine leaders who will allow our children to make up their own minds based upon real history and factual evidence ,we can start to make progress.Until that time we will have to tolerate the leftist spin from our own kind.

You are so right. We can't say a thing that could be deemed in anyway controversial because of stupid PC rules. And certainly no-one in government will ever be the first to make a stand. It's a sad state of affairs. There will always be a deep-rooted curiosity, uneasiness or perhaps even hatred against other cultures because they are not within the boundaries of which we have been raised. It is inevitable and will not change.

Methinks Malik has have been given his words and/or innovations in a muddle. He refers to 'mass immigration' as useful whilst in certainty it is particularly the different. for many if not maximum, it is the NUMBERS of immigrants which grant upward thrust to a feeling of displacement and animosity. in all fairness, variety is 'desirable' and doubtless a sturdy element yet when I see my very own unique place of delivery equivalent to Nairobi or Karachi i'm getting a profound experience of being swamped. The politicisation that is going with Multiculturalism reflects ineffective tries by utilising government to cajole us loss of immigration controls is nice - the greater the merrier, it is sturdy for us. however the beginners could be respected and allowed to act as they choose - given particular secure practices against objectors to their presence and increasing growth. And those days even point out of numbers and alien customs, religions etc is stamped upon as xenophobia and beastly racism (now raised to the point of the main heinous and unacceptable crime). i'm sufficiently previous to undergo in ideas what our as quickly as uk exchange into like in the prompt positioned up conflict years and don't experience the least bit 'enriched' by utilising the mass immigration that has taken place in the final 60+ years. The conflict weary British people weren't in any respect consulted or voted for it - and lectures on our nice custom for tolerance and alluring beginners is hogwash. 'Too many too with out postpone' is the actual situation - and the region gets worse, given delivery value differentials - and the loss of life of the becoming previous indigenous inhabitants. there is plenty 'racist' rigidity between the ethnic communities and lots from the very 'stuff of political and cultural engagement' being for the sturdy, we've all of the makings of a divided society and scarcity of universal national identity.

It is nothing to do with 'sharing cultures' as the Government would like you to think.

It is ALL to do with importing people who will work the cheapest and make the most money for business who will then pay money to politicians.

And to hell with the native people of Britain, get them so they will police themselves and shout 'racist' at each other if they don't agree with enforced 'multiculturalism'

if it was a natural thing it would happen naturally and wouldn't have to be forced on us..

We need a better standard of education.

So, perhaps our politicians have "dumbed down" education to such a low level that the "general public" will believe all their "variations on truth" & keep voting for them.

How else can one explain the pathetic state of our social structure - health, education, public transport, - relative to most of the "old" EU and the fact that we don't have French-style riots to improve them??

Most of us British do not care about the different races and religions over here. We just care about fairness and justice. We cannot go back to being an insular race which thought all other races inferior. As to political correctness the media only highlights the ridiculous aspects of it. Generally being correct is a good thing
