For the same reason an American Flag is outside a house whose residents are American yet they live in Canada. They are proud of who they are. I don't see a problem with that. I am Canadian.

I am appalled by this question & by some of the answerers who seem to think that Canadians would prefer to be Americans! I live in Mich & have met only 1 person from Canada who lives here & that's because she married an American! As for a Canadian wearing clothing with the symbol of their country -- so what? Don't you ever wear red, white & blue when travelling? I have summer clothing with the flag on it & would wear it anywhere w/o meaning to make a stmt with it. I'm ashamed of some of you.

Why could any Canadian % to stay under American rule. No offense to the yank voters because of the fact those that I even have met have all been solid human beings,no rely have been they lived, however the yank government ought to check an element or to from Canada. a individual shouldn't ought to bypass into poverty because of the fact a family members member gets unwell and you have greater scientific costs. weapons violence and conflict do not sparkling up each thing. possibly you ought to ask your instructor which training device is fairly better and which places greater concentration on the activities and humanities classes. possibly the lecturers are actually not grading you subjectively possibly you purely won't be able to do the artwork besides as you think of you may. maximum instructors fairly do not care what college you attend as long you attend.

Canadians wear clothing or have bags with Canadian flags on it, when traveling, for 2 reasons: 1) Canadians ROCK, 2) We don't want to be confused as an American and be SHOT AT

Because it's one thing to be Canadian, It's a whole other thing to proud of it too. Canada is a country that anyone can be proud of as it fights for justice and respect. Not as much as I can say about America. Why just think of all the American flag speedo's you wish you hadn't seen.

Maybe they are patriotic to their country or maybe they just look good in maple leaves. At least they actually represent what they are wearing unlike the millions of Americans who wear sport team logos while they sit on their butts and watch the game.

Why hide our patriotic pride anywhere? U.S.A. is a free country and so is Canada. Peace.

Because if we didn't tell anyone where we're from...they would deem us American. Sometimes it's nice to have a sort of individuality.
No offense to Americans or anything.

Are you saying they wear "Canadian" symbols on their clothes while living in the U.S.?

Oh brother, everybody likes to reap the benefits the U.S. offers and "show their asses" while doing so. Typical of these leeches!

that's so true...Canadian Pride....yet they'd rather live here...

I guess it's just like all other newer immigrants who are proud of their heritage! Gives them an identity...and when they see another outspoken Canadian it gives them a reason to chat!!
