It is irrelevant
There is one and only one commander in chief...
If congress wants to de-fund the war... that is their prerogative... but they would reap what they sow with that one....
There is no requirement that a war be 'popular' in order to continue it, fight it, and win it.....

Stick to conservative viewpoints. I have found they are critical when it is necessary and use common sense when it is needed. Liberal viewpoints are knee jerk reactions with answers about Never Never land. The answers about Never Never land sell better than common sense ones because it takes people out of their own troubles for awhile and focus on the bad happenings of someone else. It also supports gossip which people love. Would you rather hear about how troops helped the school or about the bomb that blew one up? If things are reported as good then the money suppporting the cause can't be pulled for an earmark. So make your own decision as to whether standard news will give you the proper information.

Simple answer, it isn't possible with the liberal media. The coverage we see on all the channels is "we're losing". If you listen to the people that are serving there, we are winning. The ELECTED Iraqi government is taking control of their country, granted it is slower than we expected. The Iraqis are having to deal with outside (read this Syrian and Iranian) terrorist. You can figure this out by seeing who they are bombing. They are not attacking our troops, they are attacking the Iraqi police and mosques of rival Muslim groups.

Hospitals, schools and an infrastructure were all in place before the Iraq invasion. The only reason they must be rebuilt is because they were destroyed. If someone purposely burns your house down and then rebuilds it, you are getting restitution, not some happy feel good benefit of some good guy. War is 99.9% negative. There is no bias involved.

What planet are you living on? Ninety nine percent of any war IS negative, I don't think it's the media's fault for reporting reality. In case you hadn't noticed, America made an informed decision on November seventh. It's only certain people who will not abide by that decision.

The American people wouldn't support it anyway, because it has been pretty much proven that it was all predicated upon lies and misrepresentations, just as Lyndon Johnson, Robert McNamara, Henry Kissinger and others misrepresented the Vietnam conflict. Here's an interesting website which discusses McNamara's views on Iraq and how they relate to Vietnam:

The majority of the media including ABC, NBC, FOX are all libtards. They rarely ever see the consertative view. However, I've seen photo's from my nephew and he's in Iraq. There's fighting, yes...but there are also great things going on that the media will never expand on.
