Your inhaler is not doing the job just like your doc said. One thing you do need to consider though is getting rid of all your toxic cleaning products and laundry products in your home to try to get your Asthma under control or even possibly eliminate it. Switch to all natural products. Just remember that your old products cannot be put in your regular trash as they are toxic chemicals and many are registered pesiticides. You need to take them to your toxic waste recycling place to dispose of them.

More important than the cleaners you are using are things like: do you smoke? do you have pets in the house? do you work in dust? what exactly causes an asthma attack for you? perfume? paint fumes? exercise? You need to work with your doctor and you don't really provide enough info here. Meantime asthma will never go away, it may improve but you will always be asthmatic.

You may need to get on both a preventitive med and a rescue inhaler.
