No I have never turned one down. The man i love asked me to marry him and I said yes, we love each other so much that we have dated 13 months and now are engaged and very happy. We talked bout marriage a lil before this and talked bout if we wanted to stay together and all or not and so we knew before the proposal that it was a "yes" for us both.

I've turned one down . . . it was that worst night of my life.
He kept me up until midnight when I had to be a work the next day at 5:30AM
and then he proposed to me when the ball dropped. I still hate New Years.

Yes, I had an ex boyfriend want to propose to me when I was 24, we had dated almost 2 years. I said no because he just wasn't the one for me....less then a year later I met my now husband and he asked me to go ring shopping after 1 month of dating and proposed 3 months later. We've been married almost 2 years now and together for 4 years. When you know, you know.

Hahah thats so funny/humiliating...I mean u shouldnt propose unless u 2 are both ready, right? Just imagine a whole nice dinner and night planned out, then the man gets down on his knee, pops out the diamond, all eyes on them, and speechless...she finally says "no, no...im not ready." Wow...

I use to host this chat room on aol. I had fun making friends, one guy thought it was a little more then that and he actually brought up marriage.. aint that the wackiest. I never met him and he was 20 years older then me. Well I sort of put him on ignore from then on.
