Never. What you have in a new relationship is great, sustaining it another thing. In this day and age everything is disposable. One thing I know. I gave up something special because one day I got restless. I have spent so many years looking for what Ihad. So no, the grass isn't greener

It's just the lighting. Most of the time, if you go over to the other side, it's greener on the side you came from... unless there is no grass on the side you came from, just dirt.

No - it only seems that way. Even if you find that it is initially greener it will fade away and then again you will find that `the grass is greener` on yet another side...

I know exactly what you're thinking. Trust me, don't be an idiot and lose a good thing because of this curiousity. You are probably having some needs in the relationship that are not being met and you just need to be direct with your partner and work on them. It's a two-way street; don't neglect her needs unless you want to wake up one morning without her!

Instead of worring if the grass is allways greener on the other side of the fence, how about watering your own lawn ??

I would say no, i know of a couple that had a affair for about 8yrs. When he finally left his wife for his mistress they had a big fall out! That was about 6 months ago and they are still on and off. They still meet up sometimes, but things are patchy!

No, not greener [as in better] - just different. Within that initial period of being 'taken' by the difference is also a later period of finding out that what one had was better and the 'new' has its issues also.
