I have watched this video here about United Airlines that accessed its first flight to and from Kuwait. It's a great video though, I also wondered when will United Airlines end it's flight to Kuwait. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wr_43Tog4Oo

As an employee of Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), I can get you more details about United's first flight to Kuwait, but not sooner than next Monday as it a long weekend here.
United now operates three weekly flights directly from Washington Dulles, with special arrangements for passengers from/to Chicago. As Deputy Head of Statistics at the DGCA, I can say that United's loads are promising, not only in passenger figures, but also in freight. Many of United's passengers actually use Kuwait as a connecting point to other points in the region and beyond. Two of United's partners in the Star Alliance operate from Kuwait too, Lufthansa and Thai Airways. Lufthansa can provide nice connecting services for United's passengers to Abu Dhabi, whereas Thai can serve them to Dubai and Bangkok.
I don't see a reason for United to stop flying to Kuwait. In fact, I heard that it is planning to increase number of flights. These flights are the only direct flights from North America to Kuwait beside Kuwait Airways' six weekly flights to JFK (three direct and three through Heathrow). These flights are operating with strong load factors, so United has a good market in Kuwait.
If you need more information, please don't hesitate to write to me.

From looking at the ticket in the video, United began service to Kuwait on October 28, 2006.

No word on them ending service, I would assume they'd end service once the flight is no longer profitable for the company.
