Eat more slowly and chew well. Chinese food usually has large chunks of morsels to chew up, so there is a lot of space taken up by air when swallowing. There are lots of vegetables in Chinese food selections as well - these break down more quickly (they are mostly water anyway) and leave you with less filled volume in your tummy. I usually eat a bit more of the rice which actually swells a little bit after eating.

Maybe you don't eat enough? That never happens to me. Then again, I get a large course of an entirely meat dish. Maybe the vegetables or soup leaves you hungry, but when I get all meat, I'm full for about 12 hours straight.

Then again, there is so much sodium that I have to drink a glass of water just about every half hour.

because of all the rice. its filling but it doesn't take long for your body to digest it.
