Yes, because our country is based upon being a melting pot of all mankind to enjoy democracy and be free. We are all one in the eyes of God. We are all to have equal rights. I think prejudice is learned and I see it fading over time as mankind gets to know one another.
I think only evil minds who seek power, money and are greedy separate mankind. Different cultures can only enrich us.

In the sense of helping people learn how to appreciate each other and live together, yes. In the sense of keeping people apart and bitter based on culture, skin color, etc., as sometimes unfortunately happens, no.

It's getting to be more and more a multi-cultural nation every day. The more races intermix with one another, the chances of you living or working in such an environment will be commonplace. People need to worry more about how they treat one another as a person instead of what their ethnic background consist of and we would have less and less violence to deal with.
