xsqrt(18) = x sqrt(9*2) =xsqrt(9)*sqrt(2) = 3xsqrt(2)
3sqrt(8x^2) = 6xsqrt(2)
So answer is 3sqrt(2) - 6xsqrt(2) =(1-2x)* 3*sqrt(2)

(sqrt3 +5)(sqrt3 - 3) is not an equation:it is an expression.
=sqrt(3)*sqrt(3) +5sqrt(3) -3sqrt(3) -15
=3 + 2sqrt(3) -15
= 2sqrt(3) -12

x squareroot 18 simplifies to .... 3 squareroot 2
3 squareroot 8x^2 simplifies to 6x square root 2
add those together and get 18x square root 2

for the second one you jsut multiply the terms together and put the answer under the root.... (3+5)(3-3) = 0.... and you cant take the square root of 0 so the anser is undefined
