It's one thing if you keep to yourself and not bother anyone, but if you're going to dish it, shouldn't you be able to take it?

I think a lot of this has to do with power and control. Everyone, to some degree, likes to be in a position of power. There are still some people out there who take this to another level. Another reason for this is that people don't know how they affect others when they display power and control, so when it comes back to them, then they see how other people are uncomfortable with it.

The Q. is clear, though it has been part of my experiences, that many of the peoples I have try to listen, because they believed they have something more to offer, if they open their mouth, they made me feel deception or totally disagree with the high level of intelligence, awareness, consciousness, as well of knowledge that they have, and to their opinion nearly invaluable, to many others. Though for sure you will be in your way to understand that great flax of man, Humanity and the so call intelligent being. Simply because the nature of your question?. In my opinion?, Be careful with been so critical and intolerant to others, the secret is learn first to listen and then become a talker. To my knowledge there are two kinds of people in this world, Ones that need to say something, and the other, the one that want to say something?

Ive also noticed the people who dish it out usually cannot take it at all, even a little bit. They get indignant and cut themselves off so you cant even discuss it. I just stay away from people like that, let someone else deal with them.

perhaps the person whom you say is "dissing it" is merely offering an opinion, and opinions are free, and it depends on YOU if you accept the opinion or if you see it as being a diss or if you think it's a problem that they voiced their opinion. They aren't saying something to be jumped on or for you to tell them back what to do, they are "merely voicing their opinion". When YOU learn to see things differently then you won't be so bothered.

The type of people who enjoy telling others what to do don't like to be told what to do, and the type of people who enjoy being told what to do don't usually tell others what to do.

I try to only give my opinion to anyone that asks for it in a question. You can not control what other people do and say, only your self

People don't like to think that they are every wrong and that they know what is best. I would tell you to try something on a menu that I thought sounded scary, but I would never try it if you told me to do it.
