I'm writing an article about people's obsession with celebrity for its own sake and wonder when other people think obsession has gone too far.

Any time that a symptom of potential disease actually gets in the way of leading a functional life, it's too much.
Same for OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), same for a head cold (get treatment if you can't work)
same for the body having ancer cells (we all have them and fight them. It's when there's too many that a tumor develops).

specific, it fairly is the explanation why D-record human beings can get interest from the media. It use to be which you had to have skills inorder for the movie star magazines and papparazzi to furnish a care. If this transformation into the 80s or maybe earlier, celebrities like Nicole Richie would not take transport of the time of day, because of the fact performing like a smart@ss on a actuality coach would not decrease it as skills.

When you actually think you have a chance with any of them, like boyfriend and girlfriend type ****...I mean, it`s alright to have a crush on one or two of them (god knows I`ve had mine), but you still have to function in the real world and not compare the celebrity to your partner.

Celebrities are people just like you and me.
And some are very nice if you really know them not just a fan.

when the middle & lower class people try to be rich like them. i.e., they spend the money they don't have. there are a lot of teenage girls/young women who try to be like paris hilton or any rich girl celeb spending and buying. and there are guys who are obsessed with scarface/godfather, etc. they think by watching the movie a lot and buying their merchandise, they'll be just like them. i think that's obsession. it's when you let go or don't want to be who you are and want to be who they are....(sorry for babbling) :o)
