Great name! Go with a traditonal middle name in case Renner wants to "blend in" when he is in Jr. High...Maybe

Renner Joe
Renner Michael
Renner James
Renner Patrick
Renner David

I think it sounds really cute. It's better to choose a name that's not that common. It makes it more unique. Renner sounds like a great name for a boy.:-)

I think people overestimate the cruelty in children. I'm fourteen and can't recall ever observing anyone ever making fun of someone else's name, despite having been in classes with people with names that are very much off the beaten track. Besides, I like the name Renner.

There is no such thing as being too weird of a name in this day and age. Look at some of the names the celebrities are using. Better to name him something different than the same old Dave, John, Mike or Ryan. I like the name. Keep it.

I love 'weird' names. It isn't even that weird though...I have heard Renner before.

My best friend was pregnant with her first child. She and her child were murdered last week. If you want to name your child Renner, name your child Renner. As long as you and the child are healthy and happy it does not matter. God bless.

that would be a nice middle name. as a first name, though, he may have a hard time with people being able to pronounce it, figuring out what sex he is by just looking at a job application, and growing up and going to school with the vicious little people that 7-year-olds can be, he may get picked on.

i like it myself, though, but realistically it's not a good first-name choice. : )

I really like it!
I always try to think about anything else that the name sounds like. Would it be possible for other children to make fun of it? I can't think of how they could. Does it sound good with your last name or the middle name (if you've choosen one yet)

Really it don't sound that bad. If I were you I would have a few names that you really like after you deliver your baby. Moms tend to change their minds on the names that they have chosen after they see their child for the first time
