Piggy is obviously jealous of Shilpa's glamorous lifestyle (living like a princess). Piggy's apology was fake and I think BB staged it so that Piggy and Shilpa made up and viewers didn't keep complaining about the racism that clearly went on.

I don't think Shilpa is completely innocent herself, as she was expecting everyone to fawn over her when she got there. She soon realised it wasn't going to happen and changed, but by then the girls didn't like her and started being horrible to her.
I'm glad she's standing up for herself now. She's been so restrained.
