Are we kidding ourselves that this is even an option, or do you think we can achieve this goal in the future. If you think it can be done, what is the most important thing we can do now to get the ball rolling ?

I think we need more humility.

Everyone is out for their group, their cause, and their country. We need to look outside of our groups and focus on a larger, greater cause.

As long as someone has to conquer, to tame, to own, and to prevail, we will not have world peace.

Communication. I think we need to communicate better with the other powers in the world, because that is what has caused so much pain in the past. Also, we need to agree to disagree, everyone on the world will never see eye-to-eye, which is why so many wars are waged in the name of religion. We need to stop trying to run religious monopolies, and agree to let them believe what they believe, and they should do the same. I think if we could just communicate well and agree to disagree then this would bring about world peace, or at least bring us one step closer. Great question by the way.

Honestly, i think it's a preposterous goal. No matter how altruistic, communicative, and loving people can be, there will always be just one influence pushing people to be contoversial, and different, and fighting for a chance to be the "head honcho." Forget world peace when a single country hasn't even achieved a true sense of peace and unity.

Society must be completely taken apart and rebuilt in order for peace to be truea nd lasting. We must evolve collectively but the only way to DO this is by revisioning a new human society - one that is based on what we know to be true and righteous, instead of on antiquated, stupid, and immoral principles that cause needless harm to humans and all life on this planet. Collectively we must pull together as never before to re-envision and recreate human society to mirror and encourage the BEST in us instead of the worst. The quickest way to get the ball rolling is via the economic system. All of humanity must be convinced that the new economy - the one based on equity for all - far exceeds the old. Therefore enterprise and business founded on new human principles and new social philosophies need to 'enter the marketplace'. We need to reimagine our economy without the old competition and survival principles which I believe create inequality, war, injustice of all sorts and basically BULLSH!T for all of us stuck here on this planet that is being destroyed by the few at the sake of US!

There is work to be done - and nothing better to do.

I think there can only be true world peace if every single person on earth would give up their sense of greed and instead take up a position on altruism.

However, I don't think that will ever be possible, especially since I'm not willing to so, so I cannot expect everyone will want to either.

Worldwide collapse! It is the only key because as long as their is love their is hate. It is the key principle that drives many questions of black and white. If you want peace, you need chaos in order to teach yourself about the emotion and psyche of the whole. Simply said: As long as there is a positive there will always be a negative!

Realistically there are only two ways to obtain world peace, or anything close to it:

1- Everyone on earth disappears

or

2- All countries mind their own business and become xenophobic isolationists

i think the key to world peace is unity among the nations and the share of a common goal of world peace, tolerance, and a full untainted understanding that world domination would forever keep our world at battle
