Best gift i ever received from my parents [ before my Dad died] was a doll with long brown hair. It had one curler with it to curl the hair with and i decided to play hairdressers. Unfortunately had the hair-dryer on hot and poor Marinda [ my dolls name ] was bald for the rest of her life. I still have her poor baby, she has one eye that looks towards the sky and one that never opens.
Then my Mom married my stepfather and all we ever got was panties and socks. Horrible. Hated it. :))))
