I was born in 1971, year of the boar or pig on the Chinese Calendar. Now it is 2007, year of the boar or pig, again. What implications does it have for me? Is this "my year"? Should I engage into new activities like start a business? Switch jobs? Invest?

Yes it is "your year," so wearing something red on you (even a piece of string around your wrist or ankle) would bring you good luck.

I'm Chinese and I do not believe in any of that stuff. My recommendation? You should not either. It's like believing that there is a God out there. I outgrew Fairy Tales when I was 7. Cold, hard logic. That's where the truth is.
