Be prepared for a fight if you do, and make sure you have a good case beforehand, keep in mind banks are big faceless corporate monsters with lots of money - ours usually, and they will eat you alive in a courtroom, they can afford £250 an hour barristers whereas most of us cant.

Taking legal action against a bank is not to be taken lightly, that said if you have a solid case against them - nail them to the wall and chalk one up for the people that get done up the wrong 'un by banks.
