You remember those "Sea Monkey" adds in the back of comic books, that you could order and they came in a package and then you threw them in water and they would swim around? In the add they looked like Sea Horses. I've never actually seen one but wondered what they are and do they really look like a sea horse?

Brine shrimp. They don't really look like sea horses except in the cartoon illustrations. Artistic license!

Yeah I bought Sea Monkeys and they do kinda look like Sea Horses. The are so little, and I don't think they live long to.

i respect the sea, too.....perchance the actual shown reality that I stay inland has a lot to do with that....i'll't undergo in ideas the in basic terms right time i actually went for a *swim* interior the sea, regardless of the reality that....the in common words cases I in many cases have the chance to bypass to a sea coast are on those summer season vacations I save declaring....and the water is so chilly! I have continuously in call for the way my father swims in that water....that is been a serious component of his workout regime even as on vacation for see you later as i'll undergo in ideas....yet as I say....i somewhat locate the water too chilly!

Sea monkeys are called crypto-biotic (I think) - this means they basically die and then when you give them water, they come to life. I think they are very small. I have never seen them - I got the X-ray specs.

brine shrimp. they look like tiny miniscule shrimp. you can get them at any pet store these days, they are used as feeders for tropical fish.
