We all know that even in Britain many Indian families would prefer to murder their own daughter than for her to marry the white boy from down the road, and we know that because it happens all the time. Shouldn't Indians be taking the log out of their own eye before the splinter out of ours?

I agree. I know someone who's family disowned her because she feel in love with a white boy. So why are some ignorant, stupid girls causing such a fuss? I'm more worried about the fact there is bullying going on. That's what needs to be addressed.

Although I agree with the sentiment of your question, your statement about Indian families is wholly inaccurate. Honour killings is mainly a Muslim phenomenon, and not a Hindu trait. Hinduism is the largest religion in India, whereas Islam only accounts for a minority of Indians. Honour killings are more prevalent in Pakistan, Bangladesh and the only parts of India where Islam is the dominant religion.
