well your at work, your job's hi speed network is flippin out. See, my internet connection is fine. anyways you maybe experiencing problems for several reasons. Too many people trying to get online, those number of employees that are online have the majority of bandwith (or space for lack of words), the IT guy fell asleep and isn't doing his job, somebody may be downloading a big ol piece of data, a virus (gasps!!), adware, spyware, or just the computer your using is tired (older ram, processor)-can't handle your demands, and last but not least you are using internet explorer 7 (please say your not!) which has been giving users the problems you mentioned. pretty much what everybody said- is true. my guess though is the high speed your job has is having issues. making it seem like your using dial up instead of high speed. ouch...

It's always a complex issue in that it could be a number of areas:
1) website being accessed
2) connection to the internet
3) PC
To check on the PC - try rebooting.
To check on the connection - talk to coworkers since you are at work.
To check on the website - try other websites.
However, if you are the only one having problems in your office - it's probably your PC or your connection to the network.

The cold weather is messing the power lines up along with the towers. Weather can have this affect.
Also, run a virus check, as these are symptoms of something that sneaked in.

Nope. Internet is fine.
Sounds like you need to do general housekeeping on the PC.
Failing that, go to grc.com then to the Shields up section and see what is happening on your PC
