Tachycardia is normal with pregnancies. The shaking and jittering is concerning. How's your blood pressure?
Get your doctor to monitor you.

I'm going to get pregnant with ilpinman's baby this summer!!!

I feel the same way towards the evening hours. I'm in my 20th week and when I sit down at night and relax it feels like my blood is pumping ten times faster than normal. I read somewhere that your body has a little difficulty at first dealing with all the extra blood in your system when you are pregnant and this causes the feeling you described.

I got heart palpatations during my pregnancy. The doctors made me wear a heart monitor for a few days during my 5th month. Everything was fine. I'm told this means you're having a girl...I don't know how accurate this is, although I had a girl.

Why the heck would someone give me a thumbs down? For what?

Totally.. I feel out of breath too.. and i"m only 9 1/2 weeks. the dr. said that it could be stress or anxitey.. but your body is also producing a lot more blood than usual and sometime it may wear you out pumping all of that extra blood. to make sure she is sending me to a cardiologist. I would check into that too. apparently it's not very common to experience this.

best of luck

Heart palpitations can happen any time, not just during pregnancy. Jitters and/or dizzy spells are normal. Just make sure you take pre-natal vitamins that contain folic acid and eat a healthy diet.

Trust my naughty nurse Melrose as she knows what she is talking about here. Your heart has to work harder to take care of you and your baby.

I hope she'll be fine when she is pregnant with the twins.

I was extremely dizzy during the last trimester. If you are not eating, drinking enough water, or resting enough you can get this way. Try not to stand too much.
