Robert Byrd has disavowed his Klan membership decades ago, probably before you were born.
Why did Republicans promote Trent Lott into a leadersip position after he praised segregation and Strom Thurmond?
Why do Republicans run racist ads in elections?
Why is it that whenever a politician is caught making racist, sexist or other offensive comments it's ALWAYS a Republican.

The libs always overlook these sort of "slight" infractions if they have a (D) before their name. They kept Studds around and didn't seem to care. The Reps tossed Foley out on the street. I guess values just don't matter to the Dems, as long as they are a lib, they are GODS among men. Reps will at least kick their sleazeballs out when their sins are discovered
