Good Luck Superstitions

Horseshoes and lucky charms such as stones with natural holes through them bring good luck.

Rubbing rabbit feet. The rabbit is obviously not a lucky one.

A black cat crossing your path is good so long as you don't run it over, otherwise it might be seen as a rather unlucky omen - especially if you happen to meet its owner.

Throwing salt other your left shoulder after spilling some. Apparently a devil is sitting on your left shoulder, and the force of the tiny salt particles knock him off and he lands in a little heap on the floor. Then you should stamp on him.

If you find a money spider and don't kill it you'll gain loads of money. Apparently.

Finding a four leaf clover.

Finding a pin on the floor and picking it up. Presumably this is only lucky if you see it before you tread on it.

A small stone, wash it in cold water, dry it, and hold it while feeling and forcing all the bad luck and feelings move into the stone. Hold it tight and feel this/know it is happening. Take the stone to a place of flowing water such as a river (a lake will do), throw it in and say something positive. "My bad luck is now washed away, never to return".

In many countries 4 leaf clovers and rabbits legs (grim) are believed to be effective good luck charms (anyone ask the rabbit?). There are also several charms many cultures have to "fend off" bad luck rather than strive for good luck. however, in most cases you are better off being less supersticious and actually doing something to change your luck.

Well it depends if you believe in luck or not. I would say anything of sentimental value or an object that has meaning to you. I carry around my father's dogtags from the navy. I also carry around my "New Beginnings" medallion which reminds me I overcame addiction.

well if you take a spoonful of capers, 1/4 stick of butter, 1 four leaf clover, put it in a bag and put it under your pillow and sleep on it you will get good luck. before you put it under your pillow you must light 1 white virgin candle by it close your eyes and picture all of your bad luck changing to good. it works for me

I don't believe in LUCK so I can't tell about items that bring "LUCK". What I do believe in are BLESSINGS and the only one who can give those is the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Something with sentamental value.
Luck charms are a mind over matter issue, If you truly believe you are cursed you will be blind to all the blessings in your life.
