Just to let you know, this copy isn't illegal. It won't install because I don't have the CD Key, and it is also password protected. I know there are programs I could buy that will open a document, but the program won't even install to get to the point where I could try to open a document.

If you have documents that need to be opened in Word and it won't install, try Open Office. Their office suite is so similar to Office that it will open Word and Excel documents. Best of all, it's free.

I don't understand... if you bought the copy, you should also have the CD key?
I never heard of Word being password protected, its files can be but not the program ?
