A year or three ago a friend of mine found a website dedicated to the independent remake of Quake.?

It's totally redone, new graphics, looks like Doom 3 or at least using the Doom 3 engine. Does anyone know where I can find that website? What happened to that version of Quake? It looked awesome, but now I can't find it. Please help.

Hmmm... sounds a little like open gl quake. The graphics were completely revamped... but it was short lived.
