No matter what we do, every time we try to start the game it begins downloading again. About 1/4 of the way through it says we are behind a firewall. I have followed the directions given and it didn't help, even disabled the firewall and still the same problem.

The downloading is for the patches - there's been a number of them since the initial release.

If it's reporting that you have a firewall, there's two likely choices - a software firewall on the OS, or a hardware firewall on a router. The best way to get around those would be to disable the OS firewall, and set up port forwarding on the router.

If those don't work, try checking out fileplanet.com - they've got all the previous patches for the game, and won't get limited by the firewall.

What would be best to do would be to turn off your anti-virus for a bit and disabling your windows firewall (if you are a windows user), that should fix the problem.
