Her dad is black. Her mom is Creole-which is a mix of black and French. So yeah, somewhere along the line she is French and maybe Native American. But a lot of black people are mixed somewhere along the line.
To answer her question, she is basically just a light-skinned black woman

Loved Tuffy's answer. If you are black in this country somewhere along the line, you are mixed with something, so I'm not understanding this "full black" term. I wouldn't be too surprised if some people of other races who thought they were full something or other had some black or Latino blood in them as well.

OF COURSE.....all black people whether your light light skinned or dark dark skinned has a mixture of some other kind of ancestry....and Beyonce is not mixed with latin...she does have French ancestry in her blood, as so does her mother...but she is and calls her OWN self, a black female.

They are of Creole (French) and Black descent. That's where the House of Dereon clothing line comes from. B's maternal grandmother was Agnes Dereon who was Creole and from an old photo, looks even lighter than Tina Knowles, B's mother.

I think "TuffY" said it all & I agree w/her. .......what difference does it make? You know the old saying 1% of black blood & that u are!
And, I think she'd agree "she is proud of her race & never claimed anything different". We all as human being come from the creator. U know who the 1st two people that existed?

What in the world is 'full black' ? Aren't you aware that there is no such thing anymore....except maybe on the Continent of Africa maybe someplace where NO mixing has ever taken place.
And her mother is NOT Native American/Indian
Black people come in many hues, types of hair, features, color of hair and eyes - just like Caucasians
