A Canuck is a Canadian, like a Yankee is an American.
Their jersey has an Orca (killer whale) in the shape of the letter 'C', done in the artistic style of the Native tribes of the Pacific Northwest.

Canuck is a slang term for "Canadian" in Canadian English and in American English. As for the uniform - if you are referring to their 3rd - It was the first uniform worn by the Canucks. It's a rounded rectangle with a simple hockey stick protruding within as the logo to form a "C" and is surrounded by the team colors of royal blue, green and white.

A Canuck the Canadian equivalent of a redneck. I think the thing on their jerseys is some Inuit-like totem type of critter. It kind of creeps me out a little. *sighs* I wish Taylor Pyatt had stayed in Buffalo instead of getting shipped out there. And yes, the Leafs do indeed suck.

A Canuck is a slang name for a Canadian. Like cheese head is a Wisconsin resident and a mud duck is from Minnesota.

It's slang for Canadian. (Not to be confused with Can Suck which is a term that applies to the Leafs and their fans only.)
Canuck is not considered offensive. As most Canadians happily refer to themselves as Canucks.
Much the same way the Americans feel about the term Yankee.
