There are profound advantages to electing a president with little political experience. Maybe, just maybe, he might actually get things done rather than "playing politics". Lots of Americans with absolutely no political experience are fully capable of running the country. In fact, sometimes less is more.

I live in Illinois, and I did not vote for Barack Obama. I have no intention of EVER voting for Barack Obama. The only reason he was elected to the Senate was the stupidity of the Illiniois Republican party leadership (remember the whole Alan Keyes fiasco?)
